When was the last time your child played in Empire? Most players were in Empire in 8U, however most players who petitioning have played Empire in past seasons. How many years has your child played in Empire?
Briefly describe the team your child wants to play on and the reasons why this should be allowed. Why should your child be allowed to have an exception when everyone else has to follow the rules? Realize if your child is allowed an exception, it probably will cause considerable controversy with the other teams that your chosen team (& the Empire Board) will have to deal with. What evidence do you have that your child will not create a competitive imbalance.
Is there any other information your family would like the EAHC Board to know when considering this petition? PLease recognize the EHC Board is a volunteer organization and must allow for discussion before voting so it could take several weeks for the EAHC Board to adequately discuss and vote on this proposal. Please note if your child is going to another organization if your request is granted your request may require your child gets a release from their current organization and/or both Presidents may have to agree on precedence of teams before your child may skate.
