EAHC

6U Mini-Mite are players 5 & 6 years old. 8U Mite are players 7 & 8 years old. 10U Squirt are 9 & 10 years old. 12U Peewee are 11 & 12 years old. 14U Bantam are 13 & 14 years old. 18U Midget are 15 thru 18 years old. All age levels follow USA Hockey rules for which birthyears are eligible.

EAHC season runs from October 1 to February 28.

Games are played in all of the Ice Rinks in the Rochester NY area including rinks in Monroe, Livingston, Genesee, and Ontario counties.

Many teams begin practicing in September and will skate until evals are held in March or April

Most games are played on the weekends although an occasional weekday game may occur. Most teams play 1, possibly 2 games each weekend. 6U play in 4-6 Jamborees per season. 8U play a 14 game Half Ice season. 10U & 12U play a 16 game season. 14U plays an 18 game season & 18U plays a 20 game season. 8U teams have a Pre Season Jamboree and 10U thru 18U teams will have playoffs on the last weekend of February.

Each individual organization within EAHC supplies their teams with a jersey.

Each organization within EAHC collects fees which include a small fee paid to EAHC to cover administrative expenses. EAHC also collects separate fees for the Pre Season Jamboree for 8U and Playoffs for 10U to 18U from each organization.
